How to Become a Vendor

The Victoria Farmers Market at Moss Street supports a lively community of small-scale, local organic farmers. If you are a local farmer who wants to sell at the Victoria Farmers Market at Moss Street, please read the Victoria Farmers Market at Moss Street Policy Manual and ensure your farm fits the market policies.

Information for Applying as a Farmer Vendor

Bring your harvest to the community

Farms that have applied to vend at the market are reviewed by a committee consisting of farmers known as the Farm Review Committee. All produce, plants, seeds and flowers must be certified or have applied for certification through a recognized certification body, except farms less than 1/4 acre under cultivation, which may be exempt at the review committee’s discretion. 

  • Applications must be in by March 15 for applicants who want to start vending in the spring, the next deadline is June 15 for applicants who want to start vending in August or later.
  • Applicants must have completed an organic application and have an inspection scheduled or have a clear explanation of why they’re not applying.
